Three areas of family education that fathers should pay attention to / Weakness in these areas will make the country
During his speech at the commemoration ceremony of the late Al-Hajj Abdul Ali Sharifi in western Kabul, while offering condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Seyyed Issa Hosseini Mazari praised his valuable position in serving religion and school. While referring to the two important duties of fathers in the family, namely providing livelihood and education, he named the religious, social and political areas as the three areas of fathers' educational duties and explained them.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: The funeral ceremony of the late Al-Hajj Karbalai Manager Abdul Ali Sharifi was held in the presence of hundreds of people from western Kabul, including his family, relatives, friends and devotees in western Kabul, in the Mystical Town, Imam Ali Mosque (AS).

Karbala Director Sharifi, a person who serves the community and loves the Ahlul Bayt (AS)
In his speech, Hosseini Mazari emphasized the outstanding personality of the late Sharifi and stated: Talking about a person who lived on this earth for decades and spent his precious life in serving the religion, sect, and school of the Ahlul Bayt (AS), requires a lot of time, but in short, it must be said that without a doubt, his benevolent and educated survivors are the best evidence of the outstanding personality of the decedeceased.

He also mentioned the son-in-law of the deceased, Hojjat-ul-Islam Walmuslimin Yar Mohammad Rahmati, as one of the prominent scientific, social, and militant figures of Afghanistan and said: In addition to his scientific and religious status, Mr. Rahmati is a well-known mujahideen of Afghanistan who was present in various incidents, including the explosion of 7 Jadi in the center of Tebyan, and is among the living martyrs of this incident. His valuable services and those of other relatives of the late Sharifi will definitely be considered as the remnants of the righteous deeds of the deceased.

The head of the Tebyan Center continued by pointing out the importance of the remnants of righteous deeds and their impact on the status of individuals in the hereafter, and added: If a person does not leave behind righteous survivors and good deeds, his deeds in the hereafter will only have a temporary use. However, if his subsequent generations continue the path of goodness, its reward and blessings will be written in his account until the Day of Judgment.

Providing livelihood and education, the two main duties of fathers in the family
In another part of his speech, Hosseini Mazari pointed out the important role of fathers in the family, and considered their first role to be providing halal livelihood, and added: Fathers must earn a living through halal means so that their families can enjoy healthy and clean nutrition. A family becomes a happy and effective family in society, and its world and hereafter will be built by one who has been nourished by a healthy and halal livelihood.

Pointing to the importance of securing a halal and healthy livelihood, he emphasized: Fathers should meticulously and carefully earn money through halal and healthy means, because feeding the family with haram money has negative effects on the soul and body of individuals and affects their future. He also emphasized the need to respect the rights of others, pay khums and zakat, and pay attention to the needs of the poor.

The head of the Tebyan Center considered the second duty of fathers to be the proper upbringing of their children and noted: Families that have a proper upbringing will build a healthy and strong society. Social problems such as assassinations, insecurity, civil wars, theft, and the like are rooted in the weakness of family upbringing. He emphasized: A responsible father will be happy in this world and will be resurrected with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the Hereafter, with a bright and proud face.

Hosseini Mazari called on fathers to pay serious attention to these two important duties in order to create a bright future for their children, society, and country. According to him, the role of education is vital in the formation of a healthy and successful society, and if families are properly educated, we will have a healthy, strong and progressive society.

Educational education is the first duty of fathers in the field of education

Hosseini Mazari emphasized the importance of educational education in the family and said: The first educational duty of fathers is to develop religious knowledge in the family. If fathers provide the basis for the correct understanding and comprehension of religion, many social and moral problems will be resolved.

Referring to the impact of educational and religious education on the historical developments of Afghanistan, he stated: If throughout history, the Afghan nation has been able to win against the colonialists, it was due to the presence of religious children who grew up in religious families and under the education of believing fathers.

Hosseini Mazari emphasized that strong religious knowledge creates a spirit of martyrdom and resistance to oppression, and if this dimension is ignored in raising children, society will be divided and dependent on foreigners, and they will also take advantage of this issue to interfere in the affairs of the country and harm our interests.

He continued by pointing out the problems caused by weak religious education, adding: Those who stood with foreigners against their own nation, those who preferred ethnocentrism over national interests, and those who created religious divisions are all the products of incorrect education and the weakness of fathers in correctly transmitting religious knowledge.

Hosseini Mazari emphasized Islamic unity and said: In a society where religious knowledge prevails, there will be no differences between Shiites and Sunnis. Because our God is one, our Prophet is one, and the infallible Imams (AS) are also respected by all Muslims. Therefore, fueling religious differences is the result of religious ignorance and the enemies’ abuse of this ignorance.

Social education is the second duty of fathers in the field of education
Continuing his speech about the educational duties of fathers in the family, Hosseini Mazari emphasized the importance of social education of children and said: Fathers should not educate their children in a way that they only think about themselves, but they should educate them with a social spirit.

He criticized the indifference of some people to the problems of society and added: If someone says that the problems of others are none of my business, no one will take a step to help them tomorrow. This thinking leads society to isolation, weakness and dependence. Hosseini Mazari emphasized that if families are oblivious to the problems of their neighbors, villages, cities, provinces and countries, a weak and dependent society will be formed that will not have the power to defend itself.

Referring to the impact of poverty and social neglect on the growth of terrorism, he stated: More than 90 percent of those who participate in suicide attacks and terrorist acts are our own compatriots. These people are attracted to terrorist groups and act against their own people due to poverty, social neglect and abuse by enemies.

The head of the Tebyan Center also emphasized the role of charity, social assistance, and the payment of religious funds in strengthening the society, saying: "If every person pays his khums and zakat and the wealthy in the society use their wealth to help the needy, poverty will be reduced and the grounds for the enemies to abuse our youth will be eliminated."

Hosseini Mazari emphasized that fathers should educate their children with a spirit of responsibility and concern for social problems so that a strong and honorable society can be formed and freed from dependence on foreigners.

Political education is the third duty of fathers in the field of education. In his speech, Hosseini Mazari pointed out the importance of political education of children in line with the educational duties of fathers in the family, and said: "Families should not only grow in the social dimension, but the spirit of political analysis should also be strengthened in them so that they can distinguish right from wrong and be on the right path."

He emphasized: "It should not be like this that it is just a matter of society and our children and sisters and brothers come to help and do social work without direction, without political analysis, without distinguishing what is right and what is wrong, no! Such a process is not worthy of an Islamic movement and an Islamic country."

Referring to the historical experiences of Afghanistan, the head of the Tebyan Center clarified: We kicked the British out of the door, but due to lack of political insight, we did not understand that they are the ones who, if they are kicked out of the door, will return through the window. Years later, we defeated the Soviets, but due to lack of proper discernment, the Mujahideen got involved in civil wars and destroyed various cities, especially Kabul, and the enemy was able to exploit this ignorance.

He said: "The leaders and personalities who were at the head of the parties and organizations could not recognize that the time has come to put aside weapons and rebuild the country, and there must be unity and solidarity and we should not get in the way of the enemies' policies. Unfortunately, this spirit did not prevail at the national level, and our Mujahideen and Jihadi leaders acted weakly, while the enemy acted strongly, and we saw what problems and dilemmas we encountered after the victory.”

Hosseini Mazari referred to the 20 years of US presence in Afghanistan and said: The Americans did not only hit us on the battlefield, but they also caused the most damage in the cultural field. The strategy of corruption, promoting unbridledness, moral deviations, and weakening the foundation of the family were among their most important actions that destroyed Islamic identity and values.

Stating that during these years, more than 170,000 people were martyred in American bombings, but on the other hand, millions of people became intellectual martyrs in the cultural and social fields, he noted: If our people had a correct political analysis, they would not have suffered such blows.

The head of the Tebyan Center called on fathers to raise their children with political analysis and understanding, and emphasized: We must not allow the enemy to question the identity and independence of our country with deceptive slogans.

He added: Brothers who have not yet become fathers and sisters who have not yet become mothers should strive to be diligent in the political education of their children. They must raise children who are smart, alert, right-seeking, anti-arrogance, and who stand by the truth and against falsehood. If fathers today do not fulfill their duties, the future of Afghanistan will be worse than in the past.

Hosseini Mazari emphasized: Fathers are very, very important for the promotion of economic life, the promotion of cognitive life, the promotion of social life, and the promotion of political life in this country, and if we see a problem in the future, it will be due to the incorrect education of children.

Hosseini Mazari noted: Political education, along with social and cognitive education, is a prerequisite for the formation of a strong, independent, and informed society. If our nation has insight into the policies of its enemies, no foreign power can dominate our destiny.

In the final part of his speech, the head of the Tebyan Center, while praising the late Director Abdul Ali Sharifi, considered him an example of a successful personality in the field of family and social education. Referring to the positive educational effects of the late director, he said: We see the result of the correct education of this great man in his children and survivors. Mr. Yar Mohammad Rahmati is an example of this education that has been effective not only in the family, but also in society, and perhaps hundreds and thousands of people have benefited from his guidance.

Stressing that righteous children are the best assets of parents in this world and the hereafter, Hosseini Mazari added: We hope that we too will learn from the late Sharifi and take steps towards the correct education of our families. If we pass away, but positive and healthy elements remain among us, their activities will be recorded as ongoing charity in the book of our deeds and will make us proud on the Day of Judgment.
