Conversion of more than 700 hectares of dry wetland into green areas begins in Baghlan

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Energy and Water issued a press release today (Sunday, Feb 9) announcing the progress of the project to convert dry wetlands into green areas.

 

The company plans to convert 707 hectares of dry wetland into green areas with solar water pumps, the statement said.

 

According to the statement, the completion of the project will be a fruitful step for the residents of Baghlan province.

 

Afghanistan has lost its green areas in four decades of war and it will take a long time to rebuild them.
