Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: "Avichai Idraei", spokesman for the Israeli army, announced that a large number of army, border guard and security forces of the regime have begun operations in the "Noor al-Shams" camp in the northern West Bank since last night.
Palestinian sources reported that a large number of military vehicles and bulldozers entered the Noor al-Shams camp at dawn today.
The Palestinian Authority's "Wafa" news agency reported that as the Israeli soldiers entered, heavy gunfire and explosions were heard, and Israeli drones were also seen collecting information in the area.
According to reports, the Israeli forces have surrounded the Nour al-Shams camp and forced some Palestinian citizens to leave their homes.
Al-Arabiya TV reported that the Israeli army forced Palestinian civilians to leave the city on foot in the cold weather.
Israeli forces have been present in the northern West Bank for about 20 days and have destroyed the infrastructure of these areas to fight resistance groups.
The operation, which began in the northern West Bank under the name "Iron Wall", will continue throughout the month of Ramadan, according to Israeli media.
