Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced today (Sunday) that an emergency meeting of Arab leaders on Palestinian developments will be held on February 13 (Friday).
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement said that in this meeting, Arab leaders will review new and dangerous developments on the Palestinian issue.
In an interview with the Zionist regime’s Channel 14 TV, Netanyahu made brazen statements about the establishment of a Palestinian state as one of Saudi Arabia’s main conditions for normalization with Tel Aviv: The Saudis can create a Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia; they have a lot of empty land!
Also, when Netanyahu was asked whether the establishment of a Palestinian state was necessary for normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, he considered the idea a "security threat" to Israel and emphasized his rejection of it.
In response to statements by Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, who called for the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi soil, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry announced that Netanyahu's statements were a clear violation of Saudi sovereignty and an infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry's statement stated that Iraq condemns Netanyahu's statements regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi soil.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry also issued a statement stating: We appreciate the brotherly countries that strongly rejected and condemned Netanyahu's statements about the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, and we are grateful for the positions of Arab and Islamic countries that emphasize the centrality of the Palestinian issue.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry added: We firmly condemn statements that aim to divert attention from the crimes of the Israeli occupying army against our Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
The UAE Foreign Ministry stressed that Netanyahu's statements are a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter. Saudi Arabia's sovereignty is also a red line that no country will be allowed to violate or cross.
The ministry added: "We firmly reject any violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and attempts to displace them, and we call for an end to Israeli settlement activities in Palestinian lands, which threaten regional stability and undermine the chances of peace and coexistence."
