Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A ceremony commemorating the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was held today (Sunday) in the presence of officials of the Islamic Emirate, ambassadors of various countries, religious scholars of the country, political, cultural and social figures, including Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Sayed Isa Hosseini, Director General of the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tabyan, and an accompanying delegation, at the embassy of this country in Kabul.
Mohammad Naeem Wardak, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, congratulated the government and noble people of Iran on the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He added that the people of Afghanistan were victorious as a result of the holy jihad against the Soviet and American occupation, and now the Islamic Emirate has been able to achieve progress and development in the country with the cooperation of the people in various fields.
The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that as a result of four decades of war and instability in the country, millions of Afghans have migrated to neighboring countries, especially Iran, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been hosting Afghan refugees for more than forty years, and the Islamic Emirate appreciates this hospitality.
He considered the relations of the Islamic Emirate with neighboring countries, especially Iran, in the last three years to be remarkable, adding that the linguistic, religious and cultural commonalities between Afghanistan and Iran have led to the expansion and consolidation of relations between the two countries in various dimensions, especially political, cultural and social.
Mohammad Naeem Wardak added that the recent visit of Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, has created a new chapter in relations between the two countries.
This official of the Islamic Emirate called the economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan constantly expanding, and added that for this purpose, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, signed various economic agreements with the Iranian side during his visit to Iran.
He also announced the agreements of the Islamic Emirate with Iran regarding judicial cooperation, especially the transfer of Afghan prisoners from Iran to the country.
The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that over the past three years, various officials of the Islamic Emirate and the Islamic Republic of Iran have made bilateral visits with the aim of expanding cooperation in various fields.
He added that the Islamic Emirate wants to expand relations with neighboring countries, especially Iran, and emphasizes the continuation and deepening of political, security, social and cultural relations with neighboring countries, especially Iran.
Mohammad Naeem Wardak stated that the Islamic Emirate defends the rights of the Palestinian people and all Islamic countries must defend the human rights of the Palestinian people.
