Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates said in a statement on Monday that Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the head of the ministry, met with a number of scholars and tribal elders from Panjshir and Baghlan provinces.
The ministry said that the elders and scholars of Panjshir thanked the Islamic Emirate for its cooperation with the people and listening to their voices, adding that after the victory of the Islamic Emirate in Panjshir, many internal conflicts and enmities in the country have disappeared.
According to the statement, the scholars and tribal elders said that opposition and criticism of the Islamic system does not reflect the wishes of the people of Panjshir and the end of the war in the country and the establishment of the Islamic system was the greatest hope of the people.
The scholars also discussed the problems of their people and region with the acting minister of refugees and returnees, the statement said.
The statement said that the scholars of Baghlan also discussed the relationship between the government and the people of their province and assured of any cooperation with the Islamic system.
On the other hand, Maulavi Abdul Kabir, while welcoming the religious scholars and tribal elders of Panjshir and Baghlan, said that after the end of the occupation in the country, war and violence are unjustified and the Islamic system is trying to make Afghanistan compete with the world in all fields.
According to the press release, the acting ministry added that ethnic elders and scholars can play a constructive role in strengthening the system with the government and the Islamic Emirate appreciates their efforts.
According to the statement, Maulavi Abdul Kabir, at the end of the meeting, stressed that the Islamic Emirate will try to provide services and facilities to the people in every possible way.
