Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said this morning (Wednesday): "Cairo intends to present a vision for the reconstruction of Gaza that guarantees the survival of the Palestinian people in their land."
The ministry explained in a statement: "Cairo is eager to cooperate with the US administration led by Trump to achieve a comprehensive and just peace in the region through a just settlement of the Palestinian issue."
According to the "Sputnik" news agency, the statement said: "Any perspective for resolving the Palestinian issue must be considered in order to avoid jeopardizing the peace achievements in the region."
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry added: "The causes and roots of the conflict must be addressed and contained by ending the occupation of the Palestinian territories by Israel and implementing the two-state solution."
