Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: A Palestinian was martyred and another was injured in a Zionist drone attack on the east of the city of Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip.
A medical source confirmed the Israeli attack on the east of Rafah and said that one martyred and one injured person were transferred to the European Hospital in Gaza in the east of Khan Yunis in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses also reported to the Anadolu Agency that an Israeli drone targeted a number of Palestinians who were on their way to their homes in the Abu Halawa area in the east of Rafah, killing one person and seriously injuring another.
In addition, Palestinian media sources reported that the occupation forces demolished a number of residential houses in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah.
On Tuesday, Munir al-Barsh, Director General of the Ministry of Public Health in Gaza, announced that since the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on January 19, 92 Palestinians have been martyred and 822 others have been injured due to repeated violations of the ceasefire by the occupation forces.
An informed Palestinian source also told Anadolu Agency yesterday that Israel has violated the ceasefire 269 times in the last 23 days since it was implemented.
Israeli forces have been targeting Palestinians with bullets and drones in various areas of the Gaza Strip almost every day during this period. Repeated ceasefire violations and Israel's failure to comply with the terms of the ceasefire agreement led Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaidah to announce in a statement that the process of handing over enemy prisoners would be delayed until further notice and that the prisoner exchange would not take place next Saturday unless Israel complied with its obligations.
Hamas listed the most important ceasefire violations as follows: preventing the entry of basic goods for the construction of shelters, including tents, prefabricated houses, fuel, and debris-removal mechanisms to remove the bodies of war victims, delaying the entry of medicines and hospital supplies for the reconstruction of hospitals and the health sector, and obstructing the return of Palestinian refugees to the northern Gaza Strip.
