Mother is the center of the family and the fundamental pillar of society. Women
During a speech at a ceremony in Kabul, the head of the Center for Social and Cultural Activities of Tebyan Afghanistan, while explaining the position of the mother in Islam, pointed out the key role of women in raising the future generation, strengthening the family and progressing the society, and emphasized the need for their responsible and conscious presence in various social areas. Referring to the need to pay attention to the position of women in society, he stated: The role of women in the structure of society goes beyond the home and family. If women are educated to be aware and powerful, they can build a healthy and advanced society, but if the enemies succeed in diverting them from their main path, the foundation of the family and, as a result, the entire society will be shaken.

Afghan Voice News Agency (AWA)-Kabul: The ceremony for the late mother of Mr. Alizadeh, a colleague of the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tebyan Afghanistan, was held in the presence and speech of Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Sayyid Issa Hosseini Mazari at the Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS) Mosque in the seventh district of Qala-e-Futuh in Kabul, with the presence of hundreds of believers, both male and female.
Hosseini Mazari, during his speech at the ceremony, explained the position and importance of the mother in religion and society. In the first part of his speech, he explained the position of the mother from the perspective of Islam, citing verses from the Quran and Islamic traditions. Referring to the noble verse “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and to your parents be good,” he stated that after ordering to worship Him, God immediately emphasized kindness to parents.
He added: Even if the parents are infidels, it is still necessary to respect and be kind to them. However, in some verses, the mother's labor and position have been given special attention, such that the hardships of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding are mentioned as special and distinct characteristics from the father in the Quran.
The head of the Tabyan Center also referred to a narration from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in which a young man asked him: "To whom should I be kind?!" And the Prophet said three times: "To your mother," and only on the fourth time did he mention the father's name. He emphasized that this narration indicates the special position of the mother in Islam.
Hosseini Mazari continued by referring to the role of mothers in the social and human dimension, saying: Mothers are one of the fundamental pillars of the creation and survival of mankind. If Prophet Adam (PBUH) had been created without Prophet Eve, the human race would not have continued. Therefore, women are the main axis of the formation and development of human society.
He added: "The family, as the smallest social institution, is the basis for the formation of society, and women are the main axis of this institution. Women not only play a role in creating a family, but their peace, solidarity, and sustainability also depend on their presence and performance. If women do not play their role in the family properly, a disorganized society will be formed, which will be full of problems such as poverty, insecurity, civil wars, terror, and theft." The head of the Tebyan Center, while emphasizing the need to pay attention to the position of women in society, stated: "The role of women in the structure of society goes beyond the home and family. If women are educated to be aware and powerful, they can build a healthy and advanced society, but if enemies succeed in diverting them from their original path, the foundation of the family and, as a result, the entire society will be shaken." Hosseini Mazari mentioned husbandhood, childbearing, child education, and family management as the four important duties of women in the family and then presence in the community, and said: Women should be with their husbands, support them, and help strengthen the family. He emphasized that women should not disturb the peace of the family with complaints and dissatisfaction.

Criticizing the decrease in families' desire to have children, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Hosseini Mazari said: A mother's important duty is to have children, and she should be determined to produce offspring as much as she can, and fear of financial problems should not prevent the increase of the generation, because God, just as He created mankind, has also guaranteed his sustenance. Population decline leads society towards weakness and dependence.
He considered the role of mothers to be very important in raising the future generation, and said: Children should be raised with faith, piety, and God-consciousness so that they can be leaders of society in the future. Referring to the effect of proper education in the formation of religious and political leaders, he considered the Islamic Revolution of Iran an example of the effect of educating mothers in raising influential personalities.
The head of the Tebyan Center, pointing out that women should have proper management of family affairs and consult with their husbands in important decisions, emphasized: In addition to their educational role, women can also be influential in the social, cultural, economic, and even security spheres.
Pointing out that Afghan women suffered from excesses during the communist and republican governments, he added: Some women who entered society no longer had any connection with their families and were moving away from their maternal role. Under the influence of Western culture, these women had become consumer beings who were exploited by Western institutions and domestic mercenaries.
Hosseini Mazari noted that this situation not only damaged the foundation of the family, but also deprived society of the constructive presence of women.
The head of the Tebyan Center emphasized that women should be present in society, but this presence should be healthy, responsible, and in accordance with Islamic values. He added: "A Muslim woman should be a helper to her husband, play a role in raising children, and participate in managing the family.

While observing the hijab and Islamic standards, it should also be effective in society.
He noted that balanced families that adhere to religious values will lay the foundation for a strong and stable society.
Hosseini Mazari, pointing out that one of the country's current fundamental challenges is the lack of access to sufficient education and knowledge for many women and girls, added: If women and mothers are not aware, how can they properly educate the future generation?! Therefore, we have a duty to strengthen women's education in the fields of religious education and academic sciences.
He also emphasized the need to provide a healthy and Islamic environment for girls' education and said: The closure of schools and universities for girls is understandable from one perspective, because the country's education system was influenced by Western culture in the past, but the Islamic Emirate must provide the ground for girls' education by considering Islamic frameworks.
