Turkish President
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Pakistan to meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. "Pakistan is my second home and today we will sign 24 economic agreements to develop relations," Erdogan said as he arrived in Pakistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Islamabad to meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
 
Erdogan was welcomed by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on his arrival. The two sides are scheduled to meet during Erdogan's two-day visit to Pakistan.
 
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that Islamabad has always supported Turkey's position on Cyprus and Ankara's position on Kashmir.
 
"Unfortunately, terrorists are attacking Pakistan from Afghanistan and we are fighting them," he said.
 
"Pakistan is my second home and today we will sign 24 economic agreements to develop relations," Erdogan said.
 
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated his determination to increase trade to $5 billion a year.
 
Erdogan also met with General Asim Munir at the Pakistani prime minister's palace and said Turkey stands by Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
