One killed, 15 injured in car ramming attack in Munich, Germany

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: German police announced that a car drove into a crowd in Munich, injuring several people.

 

According to police information, many people were injured in the car attack.

 

A police spokesman announced: We are currently at the scene with a large number of forces.

 

According to him, the exact number of injured in the incident is not yet known. There is still no information about the driver and whether he intentionally attacked people.

 

Police announced that the perpetrator of the attack has been arrested and does not pose any further danger to the public.

 

According to police, a demonstration by the Verdi trade union was held at the scene of the incident, on Stiglmaierplatz Street in Munich, at around 10:30 this morning (Thursday) local time. It was initially unclear whether protesters were among the injured.

 

However, German sources have reported that one person was killed and 15 injured in the attack.

Some media outlets have claimed that the attacker was an Afghan national and that his asylum case had already been rejected.
