Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al Jazeera, despite threats by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to release all Israeli prisoners on Saturday, Israeli officials announced that, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement, they expect the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to give Egypt and Qatar the names of 3 Israeli prisoners who are scheduled to be released tomorrow, Saturday.
Yesterday, Al-Mayadeen reported that the Israeli regime, by breaking its promise and violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement, caused the Hamas movement to also avoid releasing other Israeli prisoners, raising concerns about a renewed escalation of the conflict in the region. However, mediators are trying to implement the agreement again.
According to Al-Mayadeen, some Zionist media outlets reported that Tel Aviv and Hamas have once again agreed to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which means the release of three Israeli prisoners on Saturday afternoon.
According to Mehr News Agency, a Hamas negotiating team is currently in Cairo. Egypt, along with Qatar, is one of the mediators of the ceasefire agreement and is trying to prevent the war in Gaza from flaring up again.
Egyptian sources say that it seems that the Zionist side will allow large-scale humanitarian aid to enter Gaza today, Friday, and thus there is no longer a problem with the release of Israeli prisoners based on the previous agreement on Saturday.
The Israeli Radio and Television Organization also announced: "The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasizes that there is currently no agreement with Hamas on a prisoner exchange, but preparations are underway to officially announce this issue. The decision to continue the ceasefire or return to war is now in Netanyahu's hands."
Meanwhile, Giora Eiland, the former head of the Israeli Internal Security Council (Shabak), admitted in an interview with the newspaper Ma'ariv that "Israel suffered a severe defeat in the Gaza war." Referring to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, he explained his statement as follows: "Israel's defeat in the Gaza war can be measured by who achieved its goals and which side imposed its will on the other side." The former general of the Israeli regime went on to explain the reason for the regime's defeat in the Gaza war against Palestinian resistance: According to the Gaza agreement, Israel opened the Rafah crossing, withdrew from the Netzarim axis, and thousands of Palestinians returned to northern Gaza. In this regard, the Zionist newspaper Ma'ariv also announced that only 8 percent of Israelis believe that the Netanyahu cabinet has fully achieved the goals of the Gaza war.
