Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has claimed that the war in Ukraine could become a costly and costly conflict for the European Union, like the war in Afghanistan, with “no way out.”

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Orban said on Friday that the European Union has provided hundreds of billions of euros in aid to Ukraine to help it resist a massive Russian invasion, according to Politico.
“If President [Donald] Trump cannot find a solution, this war (the Ukrainian war) could easily become Afghanistan for the European Union,” Orban said, referring to the 20-year-old US war in Afghanistan.
The US war in Afghanistan, which began in 2001 and ended in 2021, is the longest US war in history.
“Endless war, endless conflict, no way out of the conflict, the loss of energy, lives, money, everything, the destruction of the framework of normal life in the European Union. We are in serious danger,” the Hungarian prime minister said.
Orban is one of the few European leaders on friendly terms with Putin, and has repeatedly echoed the Kremlin's claims that Russia invaded Ukraine to prevent it from joining NATO.
