Demonstrations in Turkey against Trump
Media sources reported that Turkish people demonstrated in front of the Washington Consulate in Istanbul to protest Trump's plans.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to this report, a number of Turkish citizens gathered in front of the US Consulate in Istanbul on Saturday to condemn the US President's plan to displace people from the Gaza Strip.

An Anatolian News Agency reporter reported that the protesters gathered in the Sariyer district of Istanbul and held placards in support of the people of Gaza and against Trump's plan.

Mahmoud Kar, coordinator of the "Radical Change" civil society platform, one of the organizers of the demonstration, said that Israel, with US support, bombed the Gaza Strip for 15 months, turning it into ruins and killing Muslims.

He added: "Trump is playing with fire with his statements about the forced displacement of Palestinian people."

Yesterday, the Turkish Saadat Party also organized a demonstration in Bayezid Square in this regard. Mahmut Ercan, the party’s leader, emphasized that the Islamic world must unite against the siege and occupation of Palestine and respond to it with a global intifada.

Protesters also gathered in front of the Israeli embassy in Ankara, chanting slogans against American imperialism and Israeli crimes.

Last night, Turkish people demonstrated in front of the Trump Tower in Istanbul, continuing their protests against the Trump plan and in support of the people of Gaza.
