Zionist media: Israeli army to withdraw from Lebanon in two days

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" wrote that the Israeli army is preparing to completely withdraw from Lebanon within the next two days.

 

Earlier, a senior Israeli security official announced that the army is ready to withdraw from Lebanese territory at the appointed time and hand it over to the Lebanese army, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States and France.

 

The ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on November 27, essentially included a 60-day deadline for Israeli forces to withdraw from southern Lebanon in exchange for a reinforcement of the Lebanese army and UNIFIL forces. This deadline was later extended to February 16.

 

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced on Thursday that the United States had informed him that Israel would withdraw on February 18, but would remain in five points; An issue that, according to him, Lebanon has rejected.
