Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Gaza Health Ministry announced this afternoon (Sunday) that the search for Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip continues and that rescue forces have recently pulled the bodies of several martyrs from the rubble of Gaza.
According to the ministry, over the past 24 hours, the bodies of 7 martyrs and 5 wounded have been transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
According to this announcement, the bodies of 6 of the martyrs have been pulled from the rubble and another person - probably one of the war wounded - has recently been martyred.
The ministry further said that many Palestinian martyrs are under the rubble and rescue forces are currently unable to remove their bodies.
Palestinian sources estimate that there may be another 10,000 martyrs in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Health Ministry finally announced that the total number of Palestinian martyrs had increased to 48,271, and the number of wounded had reached 111,693.
