New Jihadi Museum Launched to Preserve Afghan Mujahidin History

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that the Mujahidin, who sacrificed their lives in the struggle against foreign invaders, are national heroes. He highlighted that it is the responsibility of the Islamic Emirate to collect, preserve, and pass on their stories to future generations, reflecting the people’s demand for such efforts.
During his address, Minister Khairkhwa urged the department to maintain impartiality while documenting the sacrifices and exploits of the martyrs, ensuring that history is recorded accurately without any alterations. He assured that qualified and dedicated personnel have been appointed to oversee the General Directorate of Protection of Jihadi Values, and the ministry is committed to providing the necessary resources for its operations.
Mawlavi Muhajer Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publication Affairs, announced ongoing efforts to document the atrocities committed during the various invasions of Afghanistan, including those by British, Soviet, and American forces.
Additionally, Mawlavi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts, discussed the historical context of the Mujahidin’s struggle, noting that while they achieved victory under a unified cause, internal conflicts later caused divisions among their ranks. He reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to preventing such divisions in the future and to preserving the heritage of the Mujahideen.
