Afghan authorities are making their efforts regarding water supply/Iran will participate at the highest level in the funeral ceremony of the martyred Secretary General of Hezbollah
The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in his weekly press conference on securing the country's water supply from the Helmand River that the water supply issue is a permanent issue on the agenda of interactions with Afghanistan. He also announced Iran's high-level participation in the funeral ceremonies of martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safiuddin, which are scheduled to be held in Beirut in about a week.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In his press conference this week, Ismail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in response to a question from reporters that the Iranian ambassador to Afghanistan had spoken about solving the water supply problem while satellite images indicated that the flood was being redirected towards the armor pit: "We are taking these technical issues into account in the consultations. What was raised as quoted by our ambassador in Kabul was not correct and was the media's perception." What he said was that we found out through dialogue with the “Afghan” parties that they are making their own efforts regarding water rights. This is a constant issue on the agenda of interactions with Afghanistan.

He also said regarding the recent meeting of the foreign ministers of the Indian Ocean Rim countries in Oman, including the development of Chabahar Port: “In recent years, many efforts have been made to develop the Makran region and we want to develop this region. To achieve this goal, we need domestic and foreign investment, and we will use such events to introduce the capacities of Makran and the need to strengthen regional security with the participation of all relevant countries. The lack of security for all countries endangers the possibility of sustainable development. The feedback we have received has been positive. Mr. Araqchi had good discussions with his counterparts from different countries on the sidelines of this meeting, and we hope that these measures will be effective as measures that the diplomatic establishment has taken to expand relations with peripheral countries and even beyond the region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also said regarding the issue of Iranian planes entering Beirut airport and the Iranian delegation's participation in the funeral ceremony of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: We have clearly stated our positions and constructive talks took place between Mr. Araqchi and his Lebanese counterpart. In these talks, it was emphasized that Iran and Lebanon, considering the history of relations and mutual interests, should make the best decision and not allow third parties, who do not seek the good of the two countries and the region, to influence this process. He also noted: We will participate in this funeral ceremony (of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah) at a high level because this ceremony is of great importance.

Regarding the US President's plan to forcibly relocate the people of Gaza, Baqai also said: 16 months of genocide were carried out silently and with the support of America and some Westerners, but it could not expel the people of Gaza from their ancestral home. The people of Gaza have shown that they are rooted in the soil and will not allow them to give up this natural right of theirs. What we are facing now pursues the same goal of ethnic cleansing. The plan to transfer the Palestinian people to other countries is in line with the advancement of the same sinister plan. What Iran, as a regional country and a member of the United Nations, did was to establish continuous contacts with countries to attract international attention and request an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This meeting will be held in mid-March and its topic will be to address the situation in Gaza.

In response to a question about the threats made against South Africa by the United States for not pursuing the complaint against Israel, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "There is no doubt that from the beginning of the issue, the United States and Israel exerted great pressure to disrupt the trial process. This approach was criticized because it amounts to supporting an international crime. On the other hand, the action of South Africa and the other countries that took this path was based on a sense of responsibility, and I do not think that this pressure will cause these governments to abandon their path and their principled beliefs." Just yesterday, the African Union was convened, and most of them called for the acceleration of the investigation into the regime’s crimes and for the normalization process with the Zionist regime to be stopped. This is an international demand, and this deep-rooted demand should not be undermined by intimidation.

Regarding the statements of Trump’s representative for Middle East affairs regarding the United States’ readiness to negotiate with Iran, this Iranian official said: “Words and actions must be one; you cannot threaten destruction on the one hand and claim at the same time that you are in favor of negotiations. These statements are inconsistent with actions and are full of contradictions.”

In response to the hostile statements of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime about what he called “finishing off Iran with the help of America,” Baqai said: “In an ideal world, such threats would constitute a gross violation of the United Nations Charter, and the person making such a threat should be held accountable at the international level. In relation to a country like the Islamic Republic of Iran, the answer is that they can do no wrong.
