Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Lebanese media reported this morning (Tuesday) that the Lebanese army continues to deploy in border towns after the occupation army forces withdrew from these areas.
The published images show that the Lebanese army has entered some areas, including the town of Maroun al-Ras.
Al-Jazeera's correspondent reported that Lebanese army units have entered the towns of Muhabib, Mays al-Jabal, Blida, Houla and Marbakah in southern Lebanon. However, several points are still under Zionist occupation.
Despite the expiration of the deadline for the presence of the Zionist occupation forces, which is February 18 (30th of the month), the Zionist media have announced that the regime will not withdraw from five points in southern Lebanon until further notice.
The Israeli regime has given the excuse for its presence in these five points as monitoring Hezbollah activity south of the Litani River.
The Israeli army has not yet set a new date for its final withdrawal from southern Lebanon, but Israeli media reported that Tel Aviv has asked the international committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement to extend the presence of its forces until February 28 (i.e. another ten days), which the Lebanese side has rejected.
According to official Lebanese statistics, since the ceasefire agreement came into effect in the past 82 days, the Israeli regime has violated the agreement 923 times, during which 73 people were martyred and 265 others were injured.
