Lebanese leaders: The occupying Israeli army must completely withdraw from southern Lebanon
Lebanese leaders stressed the need for the Israeli army to completely withdraw from the areas it had occupied in southern Lebanon by abusing the recent ceasefire agreement.

The Lebanese presidential spokesman said that in this meeting, he emphasized the readiness of the Lebanese army to assume its mission on international borders.

In this meeting, it was emphasized that we will appeal to the UN Security Council to force Israel to withdraw from Lebanese lands.

The Lebanese presidential spokesman continued, "We will pursue negotiations with the International Monitoring Committee and the Red Cross for the release of Lebanese prisoners held by Israel."

Stating that we have adhered to our national rights and sovereignty over all our lands, he said that we emphasize our right to rely on the willingness of the means to withdraw the Israeli enemy.

The spokesman stated that the continued presence of Israel in Lebanese lands is occupation.

According to the spokesman, at the meeting of the Lebanese leaders at Baabda Palace, it was also announced that we adhere to all the provisions of Security Council Resolution 1701, but Israel violates it.
