Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost has posted a photo of Mohammad Sharif, the commander of ISIS, whom Pakistan and the US have claimed was the mastermind of the suicide attack on the people and US forces at Kabul airport, and whose arrest and handover to Washington, wrote: The US and Pakistan's claims that the mastermind of the Kabul airport attack was arrested are false.
"The mastermind of this attack was killed by the Islamic Emirate in 2023 and the US itself has admitted this; The documents are available in the media.
"When I was in ISIS, there were several cases where Pakistan tried to blame us for some attacks, when we had no role in them," he said. There I realized that ISIS is just a worthless name and a cover; While other circles are doing the work, they are attributing the responsibility to us.”
He stressed that this was one of the reasons he broke away from ISIS.
In his first speech to Congress on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump claimed that the "senior terrorist official" responsible for the 2021 attack on Kabul International Airport had been arrested in Pakistan.
After the remarks, US media reported that Mohammad Sharifullah (known as Jafar) was arrested by the Pakistani intelligence agency (ISI) in an area near the Afghan border after receiving information that the CIA shared with them.
But the Islamic Emirate-affiliated Al-Mursad Media has obtained information about the man from its own sources that shows that Mohammad Sharif was not the mastermind of the attack on Kabul.
According to the sources, Mohammad Sharifullah was arrested in 2019 and escaped on August 15, when the prisons were broken. Before his arrest and after his release, he was just an ordinary informer in the ranks of ISIL, but after the operation of the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the destruction of the leadership nuclei of ISIL, the group was forced to entrust him with an important responsibility, and he became the head of the security department of the Khorasan branch of ISIL.
On April 9, 2023, a man named Abdullah Kabuli was killed in an operation by the Islamic Emirate's intelligence agency in Zaranj city, the capital of Nimroz province. Earlier, on April 5, 2023, another person named Dr. Hussain was killed in an Islamic Emirate operation in the ninth security district of Herat city. He was previously in charge of the ISIL's "Martyrs' Inscription" and was a member of the Khorasan leadership council and the group's military commander in the western region when he was killed.
After the killing of Dr. Hussain and Abdullah Kabuli, the White House spokesman said the two men were the masterminds of the attack on Kabul airport, which was killed in the operations of the Islamic Emirate.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, also responded to the statements of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US President Donald Trump about the arrest of the mastermind of the attack on Kabul airport, saying that the arrest of the man on Pakistani soil indicates the existence of ISIS hideouts in the country.
