Nuclear technology cannot be bombed/If the US enters a war in the region, it will be extremely vulnerable
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to Donald Trump’s statements, said: Nuclear technology is in our brains and cannot be bombed. According to him, Iran’s nuclear program cannot be destroyed through military operations and any military attack on Iran would put the US in a vulnerable position.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: On the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting, in an interview with AFP, in response to the question of whether Iran is ready to resume negotiations with the United States on its nuclear program, the Iranian Foreign Minister said: As long as the United States continues its policy of maximum pressure and threats, we will not enter into direct negotiations with the United States, but this does not mean that we will not negotiate with other parties about our nuclear program. We are negotiating with three European countries, with Russia and China, other members of the JCPOA, and these talks can continue and I think we can reach a conclusion through this path.

He continued: As long as the US government continues its pressure, we will also continue our resistance. If the US wants to return to a new nuclear agreement with Iran, it must naturally observe the conditions of a fair negotiation, and we have proven that we will not respond with the language of pressure and threats, but rather, as in the past, we will respond with the language of respect and dignity. Regarding our nuclear program, I repeat, we are currently negotiating with three European countries, we are in close consultation with Russia and China, and we continue to talk with other interested countries. It is natural that our points of view will be conveyed by these countries to the US government.

He added: If the US wants to return to a new nuclear agreement with Iran, it must naturally observe the conditions of a fair negotiation, and we have proven that we will not respond with the language of pressure and threats, but rather, as in the past, we will respond with the language of respect and dignity.

He emphasized: Therefore, I think that the threat of war against Iran is a threat that is only talked about. The implementation of this threat would be a very big risk and could turn into a widespread fire in the region; not that Iran would do this, but that Israel wants to involve the rest of the countries in the region in war and drag the US into war. Dragging the US into war in the region is an Israeli plan; If the US enters a war in the region, it will be extremely vulnerable and they themselves know this.

The Foreign Minister said: The threat of war against Iran is a threat that is only talked about, implementing this threat will be a very big risk and could turn into a widespread fire in the region; not that Iran will do this, but rather that Israel wants to involve the rest of the countries in the region in the war and drag the US into the war.

The Iranian Foreign Minister continued, in response to the question that Turkey has accused Iran of using militias to destabilize other countries. How do you answer, he said: I don’t think anyone doubts that the developments in Syria have been directly influenced by Turkey and a few other countries, and that is why the problems that have arisen now, such as the widespread occupation of Syrian territory by Israel, the destruction of all Syrian defense and scientific infrastructure by Israel, and all the conflicts that exist, naturally the responsibility for these developments lies with those who have carried out these developments.

In response to the question of whether Iran will establish relations with the new Syrian government, Abbas Araqchi also said: There are many illegal groups in Syria, some of which are still on the UN list of terrorist groups. The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is quite clear; we want stability and peace in Syria. We want to preserve the territorial integrity of Syria. We want to preserve the territorial unity of Syria and oppose the division of Syria. We want an end to the foreign occupation in Syria. We want the progress and development of the Syrian people.

He continued: Ultimately, we want the formation of an inclusive government in Syria, any military confrontation with the people, any incident that leads to the death of people and any military conflict that destabilizes Syria is condemned in our opinion and must be prevented. The Islamic Republic of Iran is currently the only observer of Syrian issues, we have no relations with the current Syrian government and we are not in a hurry in this regard, but we hope that the developments in Syria will move towards an inclusive popular government and we hope that all illegal groups whose work has led to instability in Syria will return to the rule of law.
