The Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely not accept the expectations of bully governments for negotiations

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The Ramadan meeting of the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is one of the most important meetings in which important issues, general policies, and the roadmap of the Islamic Republic of Iran are usually outlined and explained in these statements. This meeting was held today (Saturday) in the presence of officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini (RA).

 

In this meeting, the Leader of the Revolution rejected negotiations with the US government and said: The insistence of some bully governments for negotiations is not for the purpose of solving problems, but rather for dominating and imposing their own expectations. The Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely not accept their expectations. 

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also said to the European governments: You say that Iran has not fulfilled its nuclear commitments; so did you fulfill them yourself? You did not fulfill them from day one. After the US withdrew, you promised to compensate, but you broke your promise, then you said something else and broke it again. Our government at the time tolerated it for a year. Then the parliament entered the fray and had a resolution; there was no other way, and it is the same now.

 

Referring to the double policies of the West, the Leader of the Revolution stated in this meeting: Double standards in the West are truly a disgrace to Western civilization. An example of these double standards is the claim of free flow of information. In the cyberspace apparatus belonging to the West, can you mention the names of Hajj Qassem, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Martyr Haniyeh and deny the alleged incidents of Hitler's Germany against the Jews? Can you protest the crimes being committed in Palestine, Lebanon, and so on? This is the free flow of information! This civilization today has revealed itself, in fact, its inner self. 

 

The Leader of the Revolution emphasized: The foundations of Western civilization are opposed to the foundations of Islam and we cannot follow them. We can and must use every advantage anywhere in the world, but in the foundations, we cannot rely on the foundations of Western civilization

 

Hazrat Imam Khamenei added: We cannot follow the foundations of Western material civilization in our various political, economic and other issues. Western civilization, of course, has advantages; there is no doubt about that. We must use every advantage anywhere in the world, in the West and the East, near and far, wherever there is an advantage that we can learn to use; there is no doubt about that. But we cannot rely on the foundations of that civilization, the foundations of that civilization are wrong foundations. It is opposed to Islamic foundations. The values ​​of that civilization are other values. So you see, legally, socially, and media-wise, they easily achieve things that you would be ashamed to even think about.
