Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The ceremony of announcing the results of the examination of 8,165 vacant teachers and fifth and sixth administrative posts of the Ministry of Education was held today (Monday, March 10) at the government's information and media center.
Maulvi Abdul Khaleq Sadiq, deputy minister for quality assurance at the Ministry of Education, said the examination was held in complete transparency and the only criteria for selection were merit and talent.
Maulvi Sadiq added that with the recruitment of these people, the shortcomings in schools will be addressed and teachers will be appointed based on specialties related to the tasks.
"The two basic conditions for the prosperity of countries are progress in modern sciences and entrusting the work to its people, and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to both," said Sheikh Abdul Baqi Haqqani, head of the National Examinations Board.
Sheikh Haqqani added that the National Examinations Board uses advanced systems to determine the qualified candidates through a transparent examination and no interference is possible in this process.
Meanwhile, Maulvi Sakhaullah Saeed, deputy minister of education at the Ministry of Education, said a total of 35,640 students took part in the examination, of which 3,710 were Kamian, 8,392 were reserve and the rest were declared ineffective.
According to him; Successful candidates can apply to the headquarters and relevant provincial departments for recruitment from next Monday.
