Trump
Hebrew media reported that Donald Trump is considering appointing Palestinian-American billionaire Bashar al-Masri to be in charge of managing the Gaza Strip after the war.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Jerusalem Post reported that al-Masri, born in 1961, is a close and confidential advisor to Adam Buehler, US President Donald Trump's envoy for prisoner issues.

The newspaper wrote that Bashar al-Masri, the Palestinian-American billionaire, has quietly established himself as a key player in Trump's post-war management plans for Gaza.

Diplomatic sources said that al-Masri is acting as a close advisor to Adam Buehler, Trump's envoy for prisoner release negotiations.

Sources said that over the course of several months, Buhler flew al-Masri to Doha, Cairo and other regional capitals, participating in negotiations on prisoners and other sensitive issues.

Al-Masri himself is said to have been on some of these trips and to have been present at some important discussions.

The sources said that al-Masri is no ordinary businessman, but the man behind the Rawabi project, the first planned Palestinian city in the West Bank, and has made major investments across West Asia, including in the occupied territories.

He has a business approach with Trump, and the US president sees him as a suitable figure for the economic vision of managing the region.

Although al-Masri had participated in anti-Israel protests in his youth, he is now seen as a pragmatic figure with no ties to Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.

The fact that he is a Palestinian born in Nablus and a U.S. citizen has made him widely accepted by the U.S. government, and he has maintained influence within Palestinian business circles.

The newspaper reported that al-Masri’s wealth, business acumen, and political neutrality make him a prime candidate to lead the post-war reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Neither al-Masri nor the U.S. government responded to the Jerusalem Post’s report.
