Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Senior officials from Washington and Kiev held their talks to end the Ukrainian war in Saudi Arabia, while last month US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky had an unprecedented argument at the White House.
Andriy Yermak, Zelensky's chief of staff, has been dispatched by him to Saudi Arabia to hold talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
Yermak announced before the start of these talks in Jeddah: "We are ready to do anything to achieve peace."
It has been said that the main topics of the meeting will be the path to peace and bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United States.
