Development projects inaugurated at Abu Nasr Farahi Customs; Construction of four commercial hangars worth over 71 million Afghanis
The Ministry of Finance has announced the start of construction of four commercial hangars at Abu Nasr Farahi Customs in Farah Province. This development project, which has been launched at a cost of 71.8 million Afghanis, aims to improve commercial infrastructure, facilitate the storage of goods, and enhance storage capacity at this customs.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Finance has announced that the project to construct four commercial hangars at Abu Nasr Farahi Customs in Farah Province has begun. According to officials of the ministry, these hangars are being built to store traders’ commercial goods safely and in an orderly manner, and each one has a storage capacity of several thousand tons of commercial materials.

The press office of the Ministry of Finance has issued a press release stating that the cost of this project is covered by the ministry’s development budget and its construction will be completed within the next 10 months.

Officials have emphasized that the construction of these hangars can have a positive impact on the management of commercial goods at this customs and provide the basis for reducing waste and increasing the security of goods.

Previously, the Ministry of Finance had implemented various infrastructure and development projects at Abu Nasr Farahi Customs. For example, last month, a fully equipped dormitory for customs employees worth more than 12 million Afghanis was completed and put into operation.

Also, three months ago, two other hangars worth 39 million Afghanis were built, each with a capacity to store 100 tons of commercial goods.

These measures demonstrate the Ministry of Finance’s commitment to developing customs infrastructure and facilitating trade in the country.
