US President Donald Trump recently claimed in an interview with Fox Business that he had sent a letter to senior Iranian officials, stating that he wanted negotiations. After that, the Iranian Permanent Mission to the United Nations (Friday, March 6) announced in response to Donald Trump's claim: "We have not received such a letter yet." Three days later, on march 9, Esmail Baghai Sahkhangovi of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a weekly press conference: "No, no letter has been received."

According to Fars, on March 7, during a meeting with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Revolution, stated that the insistence of some bully governments on negotiations is not to solve problems, but to impose their own expectations. The Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely not accept their expectations.

On the other hand, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi also clearly stated that there will be no possibility of direct negotiations between us and the US on the nuclear issue as long as maximum pressure is applied in this form.
