It is said that Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, acting head of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, signed the contract with Musa Amyoglu, deputy head of the Turkish company "Amyoglu" in the presence of Sheikh Zia-ur-Rahman al-Aryubi, deputy minister for policy and planning, Engineer Wahidullah Halimi, senior advisor to the ministry, a number of representatives of the ministry and representatives of the media.
According to the statement, the acting minister of mines and petroleum, while welcoming the guests, explained about the contract and said: "I am pleased that today we are signing a large project located in the Darreh-e-Noor area of Kandahar province with the Turkish company Amyoglu."
The acting minister of mines added that the signing of the contract would create job opportunities for hundreds of Afghan youth and the people of the region would benefit from other social services along with medical and educational services.
Meanwhile, the deputy head of the company, Amyoglu, also spoke about the importance of the project and thanked the Islamic Emirate, especially the leadership of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
He stressed that after the extraction and processing of marble, the product will be introduced to the world markets, which will benefit the people and governments of both countries.
