Iranian Ambassador meets with Energy and Water Minister; Iran is determined to cooperate in implementing development projects with Afghanistan
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Energy and Water that Iran is determined to cooperate in implementing water and energy development projects with Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Energy and Water has announced in a press release that Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the Acting Minister of Water, met with Ali Reza Bekdali, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, and discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
 
It was said that in this meeting, the two sides recalled the good history of cooperation between the two countries and emphasized its development and continuation, especially in the field of implementing water and energy development projects in Afghanistan.
 
According to the press release, the Acting Minister of Energy and Water assured the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran that currently the field for investment in Afghanistan is ready in every respect and the Islamic Emirate welcomes the expansion of development and economic cooperation, especially with neighboring countries.
 
Also in this meeting, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the country is determined to cooperate with Afghanistan in the implementation of water and energy development projects.
 
On the other hand, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in a press release: In a cordial meeting between the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul and Abdul Latif Mansour, the Acting Minister of Water and Energy of Afghanistan, comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in the fields of water and energy in 1404 was discussed. In this meeting, the implementation of the treaty on the water of the Helmand River was exchanged in a friendly environment.
 
The Ministry of Energy and Water added that in this meeting, while emphasizing the development and expansion of cooperation between the two countries, the issues of water shortage and drought were also discussed and exchanged.
