Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Yahya Saree, Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Announced That These Forces Were Able to Target the US Aircraft Carrier Harry Truman in the Red Sea for the Second Time Using Their Ballistic, Guided Missiles, and Drones. This Attack After Several Hours of Fighting, the Ship Was Forced to Return from the Area.

He also announced that Yemeni forces will continue to carry out counterattacks and will thwart any attempt by ships affiliated with the Zionist regime to pass through Yemen’s operational area.

US and British attack on Yemen and the seized Israeli ship
Along with Yemen’s combined attack on the American ship, the US and the UK intensified airstrikes on Yemeni infrastructure. Reports indicate that US and British forces have twice targeted the command tower of the seized Israeli ship Galaxy Leader, which is located off the coast of the port of Hodeidah. The ship, which was seized by Ansarullah forces in 2023, has since become a tourist attraction for the Yemeni people.

The US and the UK have repeatedly tried to free the ship from the hands of Yemeni forces, but have always failed. In this regard, media outlets close to Ansarullah in Yemen have reported that the ship remains under Yemeni control.

Increased human casualties in Yemen
According to recent reports, the number of Yemeni martyrs due to US and British attacks has increased to 53, including five children and two women. Also, the number of injured has reached 98, including 18 children and one woman. These attacks took place in several Yemeni provinces, including Sana’a, Sa’ada, Dhamar, Hajjah, Al-Bayda, Marib and Al-Jawf, and as a result, many civilians have lost their lives.

Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health has considered these attacks as clear crimes against international law and human rights and has condemned them. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health has announced that these actions by the US and Britain have not only worsened the humanitarian situation in Yemen, but have also led to an escalation of the humanitarian and social crises in the country.

International Responses and Calls for Peace
Following the escalation of tensions and multiple attacks on Yemen, the United Nations and international officials have warned of a humanitarian crisis in Yemen. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on all parties to refrain from escalating military attacks and to turn to diplomatic solutions and dialogue to end the Yemeni crisis.

He has emphasized that the continuation of this war could increase tensions in the region and turn the humanitarian situation in Yemen into a catastrophic situation. Guterres and other international officials have emphasized the urgent need to address humanitarian needs in Yemen and have called for an end to military attacks and to prevent harm to civilians.

Yemeni Responses and Threats to Continue Resistance
In a speech, the leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement, Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, emphasized the continuation of resistance and confronting the aggressions of the United States and Israel. He has announced that the Yemeni people will not retreat from their faith, Quranic and humanitarian positions in any way and will continue to confront any aggression with strength. Al-Houthi also called on Islamic countries to take their responsibilities towards regional crises and support the Palestinian and Yemeni people seriously.

It seems that with the intensification of attacks and increasing tensions in the region, the Yemeni crisis has entered a new phase of humanitarian and military crisis. This situation requires urgent and effective measures to reduce tensions and address the humanitarian crisis.
