UN Security Council to hold meeting on Afghanistan
The UN Security Council is holding a meeting with its members to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, media reported.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The meeting is said to be held today New York time. The meeting is expected to discuss the extension of the mission of the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).
 
The UN Security Council said the meeting would review the Secretary-General's report on the situation in Afghanistan and its consequences for international peace and security.
