The Zionists
In continuation of its expansionist policies, the Zionist regime is seeking to build a crossing called "David's Crossing" in Syria. This project aims to secure Israel's strategic interests and establish a land connection with the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, while the occupying regime is seeking to exploit the weakness of the Syrian government.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): News Analysis and Research Service: In light of the passivity and weakness of the terrorist regime ruling Syria, Tel Aviv, by continuing its advances in this country, is seeking to build a crossing called "David's Crossing" that has unique dimensions and characteristics. This project is part of a larger strategy designed within the framework of American-Zionist cooperation to change the geopolitics of the region.

According to information published in the media, recent developments in Syria show that the Zionist regime is seeking its strategic interests in the area south of Damascus. This area, which begins in the occupied Golan Heights of Syria, passes through the provinces of Quneitra, Daraa and Sweida and then reaches the Al-Tanf region. Finally, this crossing connects to the territories controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and extends to the Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist occupation regime, recently brazenly warned against any deployment of new military forces in southern Damascus and called for the complete demilitarization of this area. Also, the Zionist Minister of Defense, Yisrael Katz, has announced that Israel’s attacks on Syria are aimed at preventing a repeat of the experience in southern Lebanon.

The Zionist regime seeks to achieve several major goals by constructing the David Crossing:

1- Control of Syria’s eastern borders and establishing land communication with the Kurds in the north.

2- Prevent the deployment of resistance forces in southern Damascus.

3- Control of energy resources, including oil and gas fields in Syria.
4- Inciting the regional minorities to create autonomous states in line with the interests of Israel.
Political observers believe that David's Pass is part of an American-Zionist plan to create a geographical area loyal to them in Syria. This plan is designed to dominate Syria's natural resources and put pressure on the axis of resistance, and has dangerous consequences for the stability of the region. Therefore, the countries of the region must adopt common positions to prevent the negative consequences of this plan.
