Referring to the coincidence of the beginning of the New Year with the Nights of Power and the days of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (AS), he expressed the hope that the blessings of the Nights of Power and the attention of the Master of the Pious will reach the people of Iran and all those whose New Year begins with Nowruz.

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered 1403 (2014) to be a year full of events and its successive events similar to the events of 1360 (1984) in Iran, accompanied by hardships and difficulties for the people of this country, and said: The martyrdom of a number of Iranian advisors in Damascus, the martyrdom of Mr. Raisi, the beloved President of the Iranian nation, and after that, bitter incidents in Tehran and Lebanon caused the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah to lose valuable elements this year.

He listed the pressure of economic problems and the hardships of livelihood in Iran, especially in the second half of the year, as other events in 1403 and noted: In the face of these problems, a great and strange phenomenon emerged, namely the strength of will and spiritual spirit of the Iranian nation and their high-level unity and preparations, the first manifestation of which was in the face of the absence of the president and the slogans and high spirit of the people in that great procession, which showed that this heavy calamity was not capable of creating a sense of weakness in the nation.

Imam Khamenei called the rapid holding of presidential elections within the legal deadline and removing Iran from the managerial vacuum by electing a president and forming a government another manifestation of the high spiritual spirit and ability of the Iranians, and in describing another area of ​​the manifestation of the nation's spiritual strength, he said: In the face of the problems of the people of Lebanon and Palestine, the Iranian nation generously sent a huge flood of public aid to its religious brothers and sisters in Lebanon and Palestine.

In another part of his Nowruz message, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the naming of the year 1403 as "a leap in production with people's participation" in Iran, and called the events of the previous year an obstacle to the full realization of this slogan, despite the efforts of the country's government, people, and private sector, and added: "Therefore, this year, the main slogan and issue is still economic and related to the issue of investment, because the leap in production and resolving livelihood problems depend on the realization of investment in production." Emphasizing the role of the Iranian government in creating the groundwork for the country's people to invest in the production sector, he said: "Of course, where people do not have the motivation or ability to invest, the government can enter the field as an alternative and not a competitor to the people and make investments."
