Israel's renewed airstrikes on Damascus suburbs

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: News sources reported that the Israeli regime has once again targeted Damascus. In this attack, the western suburbs of Damascus, the Syrian capital, were targeted several times.

 

This attack comes a few days after the Israeli airstrike on southern Syria on March 17 left 2 dead and 19 wounded. According to IRNA, the attack targeted facilities belonging to the Syrian people west of the city of Daraa in southern Syria.

 

Recently, the Israeli army has increased its operations in southern Syria, while continuing its ground incursions into the buffer zone. It has targeted several bases. The Israeli army has taken control of strategic locations, including the Jabal al-Sheikh hills, and continues to expand its military presence in the Quneitra province in southwestern Syria.

 

Since the fall of the Assad government, the Israeli army has crossed the buffer line between the occupied Golan Heights and the Syrian mainland and continued to occupy areas near the Golan Heights in the Daraa and Quneitra provinces.

 

Analysts have referred to the continued military movements of the Israeli regime in southern Syria and the expansionist statements of the regime's Prime Minister in this regard, and have considered it in line with the nefarious plans of "Benjamin Netanyahu" in the region.

 

According to analysts, it is quite clear that Netanyahu is seeking to cover up his defeats in Gaza and the West Bank by continuing the occupation of southern Lebanon and Syria with the support of the United States.
