The release of news of a Pakistani delegation's secret trip to the occupied territories has created a new controversy in Pakistani and regional political circles. While the Israeli media outlet "Israel Hume" revealed the trip, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry declared ignorance and called Islamabad's official position towards Israel unchanged.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): News Analysis and Research Service: According to a report by "Israel Hume", last week a group of 10 Pakistani journalists and researchers traveled to the occupied territories at the invitation of an organization that works to strengthen Israel's relations with South Asian countries. The report adds that to protect the members of the delegation, their passports were not stamped and the news of the visit was kept secret until their return to Pakistan.

However, many speculations have been raised about the actual composition of the delegation. Some analysts believe that the trip was not just a media stunt, but may have involved Pakistani military and intelligence officials, including army generals and agents of the country's intelligence agency (ISI), who are seeking to establish secret relations with Mossad.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry's Reaction After the news was published, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry reacted quickly. Shafqat Ali Khan, a spokesman for the ministry, announced that Islamabad had no knowledge of the trip and had learned about it through the media. He emphasized that Pakistan's position on Israel was consistent and had not changed.

But these explanations have raised doubts in media and political circles. If this trip was indeed unofficial, why was it kept secret until the delegation returned to Pakistan? Also, does the lack of information from the Foreign Ministry mean that the Pakistani government is completely unaware of such movements, or is this move part of a larger game in the field of Pakistani foreign policy?

Pakistani officials have a history of secret trips to Israel. In previous years, there have been reports of informal meetings between officials from both sides, but Islamabad has always denied this.

Pakistan has so far been one of the Muslim countries that does not have diplomatic relations with Israel and has strongly supported the Palestinian position. However, some analysts believe that under pressure from the United States and its Arab allies, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Islamabad may gradually take the path of normalizing relations.

On the other hand, if the reports about the presence of military and security officials on this trip are true, it could indicate a gap in Pakistan's internal positions. That is, the country's military and intelligence agencies may independently seek to establish contact with Mossad, while the civilian government continues to emphasize its official position.

In any case, the disclosure of this trip has created internal pressure on the Pakistani government and it is likely that the country will be forced to be more transparent in this regard. It remains to be seen whether this trip was just a personal and informal move, or will it be the beginning of larger changes in Pakistan's foreign policy?
