Economic sanctions are an effective weapon against the Zionist regime/Quds issue is a human and global issue
As the International Quds Day approaches, two religious scholars and cultural activists of the country, while considering the Quds issue not only a religious issue, but also a human and global issue, called one of the important ways to confront Zionism an economic war and emphasized that if Muslims boycott the goods of the Zionist regime, they will deal a serious blow to the economy of this regime.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: As the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, which has been named International Quds Day, approaches, Sayed Ali Misbah, a cultural and religious activist, emphasized in an interview with AVA that the Quds issue is not only a religious issue, but also a human and global issue.

He added that the Zionist regime has committed unprecedented crimes throughout history, not only against Muslims, but also against all of humanity.

According to Misbah, Quds Day is not just a symbolic day, but an opportunity to show the importance of this issue and mobilize public opinion against oppression and occupation.

Stating that defending Quds is a moral, religious and human duty, this cultural activist noted that we must expose the true face of Zionism through the media, art, interviews and cultural activities.

He said: "We need Islamic unity and we must put aside superficial differences, because the only way to confront the Zionist regime is through unity and solidarity."

Sayyed Ali Misbah considered one of the important ways to confront Zionism to be economic warfare and stated that boycotting Israeli goods is a duty. He said that unfortunately, many Zionist goods are found in abundance in Islamic countries. If Muslims boycott these goods, they will deal a serious blow to the economy of this regime.

On the other hand, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Muhammad Jawed Mohaqiq, a religious scholar and cultural activist, emphasized in an interview with Ava that Quds Day should not remain just a slogan, but Muslims should think of practical solutions to confront Israel.

Referring to verses of the Quran, he said: "God Almighty has promised that He will help the believers, but this promise is conditional on our unity and resistance against the enemies. The Quran says: "And you will find the most intense of people enmity towards those who believe, the Jews," meaning that the most intense enemies of Muslims are the Jews. Until we understand this truth and unite, the enemy will continue its crimes."

He also criticized the silence of some Islamic countries against the crimes of the Zionist regime, adding that until Muslims unite and stand against the Zionist regime, we should not expect change.

The religious scholar said: "The only way to destroy this regime is through practical unity and continuous action, not just on the last Friday of Ramadan, but on all days of the year." International Quds Day, named after Imam Khomeini (RA), is celebrated every year on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan around the world, and Muslims hold marches and rallies to express their support for the Palestinian people.
