Kremlin confirms Putin's personal gift to Trump

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Russian President's press secretary confirmed that Vladimir Putin gave a personal gift to US President Donald Trump, but declined to provide details.

 

Dmitry Peskov said: "The only thing I can say is that this was a completely personal gift that the president presented to his American counterpart."

 

Peskov added that the publication of the details of the gift is possible only by Putin's own decision.

 

Earlier, Steven Witkoff, the US President's special envoy for the Middle East, said in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that Putin gave him a portrait of Trump, painted by a famous Russian painter. Whittaker added that he delivered the gift to Trump.
