Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The text of the statement of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) condemning the martyrdom of Hussam Shabat and Mohammad Mansour, two Palestinian journalists from Deir in Gaza, by the Zionist regime is as follows:
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
With a heart filled with sorrow and anger, the Afghan Voice News Agency (AVA) strongly condemns the unjust martyrdom of the Palestinian journalist, martyr Hussam Shabat, following the merciless airstrike by the Zionist occupation regime on the Gaza Strip.
With the martyrdom of Mr. Shabat and Mansour, the number of Palestinian journalist martyrs during the repeated and criminal aggressions of the Zionist regime has reached 209; a shocking statistic that indicates the continuation of the targeted policy of suppressing the truth, censoring the voices of the oppressed, and silencing the truth-tellers.
Ava News Agency, as an independent regional media outlet, expresses its deep sympathy to the family of this dear martyr, the Palestinian media community, and all free journalists around the world, and emphasizes that targeting journalists is a clear violation of international law and human rights, especially the conventions related to the protection of journalists in war zones.
We call on international institutions, especially the United Nations, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), and human rights organizations, not to remain silent in the face of these crimes and to take practical and effective measures to hold accountable and immediately stop the crimes of the Zionist regime.
Ava News Agency also calls on all media outlets aligned with and supporting the axis of resistance in Gaza and Palestine, as well as free and independent media outlets, to cover the latest developments in this region with greater seriousness and accuracy, so that the criminal Zionist regime and its supporters, especially the United States, cannot achieve their goals and plans.
The voice of truth will not be silenced, and independent media around the world will continue their mission of exposing the truth and standing with the oppressed.
