Iranian Ambassador: Our relations have moved and will continue like a raging river from the heart of history
In a ceremony held in Herat province with the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the country, the Governor of Herat, referring to the importance of Muslims' support for Palestine and Gaza, emphasized that every day is Quds Day and every day is Palestine Day. He also called on the people of Herat to support the people of Palestine and Gaza with their economic assistance.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Herat: Dr. Alireza Bekdali, the Grand Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghanistan, during a visit to Herat province last night at the ceremony to celebrate International Quds Day in the presence of local officials, cultural figures, political figures, religious scholars and media people of Herat, said in his speech: The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named International Quds Day. The historical land, the land of the prophets and saints, Palestine was handed over to the Zionists in 1948 based on an international conspiracy. From the moment they entered this land, they brought with them killing, massacre, destruction and genocide, and they killed hundreds of thousands of believers and Muslims every day and every month. More importantly, they occupied the first Qibla of Muslims and committed inhumane acts in this Qibla. He continued: Since 1358, Imam Khomeini (RA) declared the last Friday of Ramadan as Quds Day in a Quranic initiative to increase the solidarity of believers and Muslims, and since then we have witnessed that every year on this day, a large number of Muslims, along with the free people of the world and people with pure and bright hearts, come together. Dr. Bekdeli also noted: In the past months, we have witnessed that the zealous Palestinian fighters, our dear ones, who were in Gaza, took the initiative to defend their land in response to the crimes committed against them. In this way, many martyrs have sacrificed themselves to the cause of Islam, including great leaders from among themselves, such as martyr Haniyeh and martyr Sinwar, and many children and women.
He continued: We Muslims have a duty to stand by them, give them strength, and show that the divine promise of helping Muslims achieve their rights is true, and God willing, Nasrallah and God's victory is near.
The Grand Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghanistan also emphasized: On Quds Day, we are trying to fulfill our religion with one step on the path to Palestine, with an online post.
Continuing his speech, referring to the relations between Iran and Afghanistan, he added: "Our relations are like a raging river that has moved from the heart of history and will continue. What we, the authorities, must do is to remove the obstacles that stand in the way of this river and allow our nations to continue the great work that they have done throughout history: brotherhood, neighborliness, history-making, culture-making, friendship, civilization-building, helping Islam, and the mutual services that our people have provided to Islam and Islam to our people. This path is well-known to scholars and professors.
Dr. Bekdali added: We are proud to play a small part in this path and bow our heads in line with the orders that will help the friendship and ties between these two countries and for which we will sacrifice our lives. We do not work here, but we live here and we devote our lives to the friendship between Iran and Afghanistan and we do not count the days and nights.

Also, in the continuation of this meeting, Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, the governor of Herat, said in his speech: The connection and unity of the two countries of Iran and Afghanistan has a very long historical background in terms of religion, culture, language and race, and these two nations were together in various aspects of life.
Expressing his satisfaction with the measures and creation of trade facilities by the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, he said: A lot of cooperation has been carried out to date, and we hope that the appointment of Mr. Bigdali and Mr. Marhamati in the center and Herat will improve these good and comprehensive relations between the two countries.
The governor of Herat continued: Our friendly, brotherly and neighboring country has taken many good steps, including the exchange of prisoners and the surrender of prisoners to the Islamic Emirate, and Mr. Araqchi's recent speech and views in Kabul were very influential, and his views and study of the dignity towards Afghanistan made us very happy.
Pointing out that Islamic countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, have always had good relations with the Islamic Emirate, he expressed his hope that the new natural year will be a year full of blessings and fruitful in the good relations between the two countries and other Islamic countries.
Sheikh Islam Jar also noted that yesterday, the 19th shipment of Herat's humanitarian aid arrived in Gaza City, and with three other shipments that were not mentioned, 22 packages in small and large shapes have reached the hands of the Mujahideen and the people of Gaza.
The governor emphasized that every day is Quds Day and every day is Palestine Day.
Sheikh Islam Jar continued to emphasize: The best action of the people towards Palestine is economic support.
He called on all the nobles and nobles of Herat to provide their zakat, alms, charity and shelter to those people, because currently the best help to the Palestinian people is economic help and the best blow to the Jews is economic blow.
The Governor of Herat, referring to the importance of this issue, emphasized by referring to a hadith from the Prophet of Islam: "He who sleeps at night with a full stomach and his neighbor is hungry is not a Muslim."
