In a statement, Lebanon's Hezbollah reacted to Reuters' recent claims about its readiness to negotiate about its weapons, calling them false.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Lebanon's Hezbollah issued a statement and categorically denied the reports attributed to the resistance group in Reuters.

In recent weeks, Reuters has been creating a climate against resistance groups and recently claimed that Lebanon's Hezbollah is ready to negotiate about the future of its weapons, provided that Israel withdraws from Lebanese soil and ends its attacks.

In a statement released on Thursday, Hezbollah said: "Recent media reports based on attribution of information to Hezbollah sources or officials are completely false."

The party continued to emphasize: “We reiterate what is clear: there are no sources within Hezbollah, and the party’s positions are only announced through official statements or statements by official officials and Hezbollah websites.”

Hezbollah also concluded the statement by calling on the media to exercise the utmost caution in publishing such news and to refrain from publishing material that is not official.
