Iran-US indirect negotiation method determined / Araqchi is heading to Oman with full authority
According to a reliable news source in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the method of indirect negotiation between Iran and the United States has been determined. According to this report, tomorrow (Saturday, April 11), Muscat, the capital of Oman, will host Iranian and American delegations headed by Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Whitaker, Donald Trump's Special Representative for the Middle East, to begin indirect negotiations. Meanwhile, according to a member of Iran's Expediency Discernment Council, Araqchi is heading to Oman with full authority.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: "Noor News" published a report on this matter and wrote: These negotiations, which are mediated by Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi, will be conducted indirectly and through the exchange of written texts.

According to the report, Iran has given diplomacy this opportunity by accepting indirect negotiations with the United States, with the aim of verifying the intentions of the American side, and as Araghchi previously said, this meeting is as much an opportunity as it is a test.
The Iranian news agency noted that this negotiation model is a precedent and has been used in some issues before, the most recent example being the issue of Ukraine, which was used by the United States.
Meanwhile, Ali Shamkhani, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote in a message on the X network: "The Iranian Foreign Minister is on his way to Oman with full authority for indirect negotiations with the United States."
He added: "Far from showing off and talking in front of the cameras, Tehran is seeking a real and fair agreement. Important and feasible proposals are ready; if Washington enters with honesty and the will to reach an agreement, the path to an agreement will be clear and smooth."

Ayatollah Sediqi, the interim Friday Imam of Tehran, also said in his Friday prayer sermons today, Friday, 11 April: "Iran has logic and is a negotiator. We are pursuing indirect negotiations, and the goal is to lift sanctions. They were not negotiators and violated their commitments. Iran took the initiative from the beginning."
And, stating that Iran replaced Oman with the UAE in negotiations with the United States, he said: "They wanted to discuss various issues with us, but we only put one issue on the agenda. We will only have indirect negotiations on the nuclear issue."

Earlier, an Iranian source told Al Jazeera that the United States had agreed to indirect negotiations and that Iran was seriously pursuing indirect negotiations with the United States. The source also said that Iran considers any pressure on its nuclear program unacceptable.
