Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Donald Trump claimed that he wants Iran to be a "great and happy" country but it should not obtain nuclear weapons.
He also said about the indirect talks scheduled to be held today (Saturday) in Oman to discuss Iran's nuclear program that an "important meeting" is scheduled to be held with the Iranians.
The US team in the Oman talks will be led by the Trump administration's special representative, Steve Whittaker.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that these talks will be held indirectly, but American officials claim that the talks will be direct.
A few hours ago, the Axios website reported that the talks in Oman will begin indirectly, but that negotiations may move towards "direct interactions" if progress is made in the talks.
