17 Balkh climbers successfully climb the "Qiyaghali Bala" peak in Kholm district, Balkh province
Seventeen climbers from Balkh province, led by Momin Sarwari, deputy provincial affairs officer of the country's National Mountaineering Federation, succeeded in conquering the lush and spectacular "Qiyaghali Bala" peak in Kholm district.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hamid Gul Liwal, press officer of the Balkh Sports and Olympics Department, announced the news that the climb was successfully completed in the form of four climbing teams.

The "Qiyaghali Bala" peak, with an altitude of 2,145 meters, is located in the village of Khwaja al-Ghar in Kholm district and is about 35 kilometers from the center of Mazar-e-Sharif.

The teams participating in this program were: the Center Team, the Northern Eagle Team, the Balkh Alliance Team, and the Diyar Mullah Ali (AS) Team.

According to Liwal, the aim of this climb is to improve the physical and academic level of climbers, as well as to introduce the natural attractions and beauties of Balkh Province.

This initiative is aimed at promoting mountaineering and developing nature tourism in the province.
