Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with a group of commanders and officials of the Iranian Armed Forces on the occasion of the New Year, called the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran the fence of Iran and the refuge of the nation of this country against any aggressor. Emphasizing the continuous strengthening of maximum preparedness and hardware and software precautions to fulfill this responsibility, he said: The country's progress has angered and frustrated Iran's ill-wishers. Of course, there are weaknesses in areas such as economic issues that undoubtedly need to be addressed.
In this meeting, Imam Khamenei described the hardware preparedness of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran as strengthening its weapons capabilities and improving its organizational, organizational and livelihood capabilities, and added: Along with hardware preparedness, software preparedness, meaning faith in one's goal and mission and certainty in the rightness of the path, is very important, and there are hostile efforts to distort it.
He considered the Islamic and independent existence of the Islamic system to be the factor that provokes hostility towards it and added: What makes the enemy sensitive is not the name of the Islamic Republic, but rather the will that a country wants to be Muslim, independent, and with an identity and not rely on others for its dignity, which causes them to be angry.
Referring to an example of the dual attitudes of global bullies in allowing themselves to be equipped with the most severe and catastrophic types of weapons and prohibiting defense progress for others, the Leader of the Revolution said: Certainty, faith, will, courage, and trust in God must exist to the maximum extent in the armed forces, because the pompous armies that did not have these characteristics throughout history have failed.
He considered maintaining and improving software readiness in society to require the efforts of various propaganda departments and added: "Fortunately, today the country is not only far ahead of the past in terms of hardware readiness, but it is also very advanced in terms of software, an example of which is the indescribable enthusiasm of hundreds and thousands of faithful and motivated young people to be present in the fields that require struggle."
