Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Human rights groups and informed sources report the discovery of more than 30 mass graves in the coastal areas of Syria. These graves contain the bodies of hundreds of Alawite civilians who were killed in recent attacks by the Al-Jolani terrorist group. According to reports, these attacks took place in several villages and Alawite-dominated areas in the past three weeks.
 
According to Mehr, reports indicate that the number of victims may reach more than 2,000. In some of these graves, the bodies of families from several generations (from grandparents to grandchildren) have been found together. There have also been reports of beheadings and the burning of some bodies.
 
Efforts are currently underway to document these crimes and identify the victims. The discovery of these mass graves once again highlights the severity of the violence and human rights violations in Syria.
