Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: Abdul Saboor Saighani, spokesman for the Bamyan governor, announced in an interview with AVA that these projects, which include 7 healthy water supply networks, have been launched by the Aga Khan Development Foundation in cooperation with the Bamyan Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department and in the presence of the governor of the province.
At the inauguration ceremony of these projects, Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi, the governor of Bamyan, emphasized that the government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is seriously trying to address the problems and needs of the people by implementing development and public benefit projects.
According to him, these projects will be implemented in the villages of Koy Kinak, Takhak, Otapur, Gazak, Dozdan Cheshma, Hezar Cheshma and Sar Lori Netaq of Yakawlang District No. 1 at a total cost of 32 million Afghanis and the budget will be provided through the World Bank.
It was said that with the completion and operation of these projects, 1,200 families, 14 mosques, one religious school and three madrasas will have access to safe drinking water.
