Kabul Airport Hotel Construction Plan Review Begins
The Administration announced a preliminary meeting to review the plan to build a hotel at Kabul Airport. The meeting was attended by officials from the Administration and representatives of private companies.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Administration announced that a meeting was held with the presence of officials from the Administration and private companies that are parties to the contract to review the plan to build a hotel at Kabul Airport. The meeting was held to discuss and exchange views on the hotel construction plan, and both parties emphasized the importance of this project.
 
The Administration's press office announced the meeting in a press release on Monday, April 15. Maulvi Ahmad Zia Khalid, Head of the Administration's Investment Facilitation Department, chaired the meeting, and representatives of private companies Cinderella and Harirud were also present.
 
According to the press release, the main purpose of the meeting was to review the plan to build a hotel at Kabul Airport. Referring to this issue, Maulvi Ahmad Zia Khalid announced that the Economic Commission has tasked the Investment Facilitation Directorate of the Administration to study and review the plan comprehensively.
 
Stating that the plan has been reviewed by the experts of the department, he called the construction of a hotel at Kabul Airport vital and emphasized that the experts of the Administration are ready to provide the necessary cooperation to finalize this project based on the Public-Private Partnership Law.
 
At the end of this meeting, it was decided that a joint technical team from the Investment Facilitation Directorate and the aforementioned companies would hold meetings to enrich the plan and, after finalizing it, present it to the Economic Commission of the Islamic Emirate for decision-making.
