Purchase of three cranes worth more than 52 million Afghanis for the country
The General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan announced the purchase of three cranes worth more than 52 million Afghanis for the customs of Farah, Kandahar and Khost provinces. This measure was taken to accelerate the process of loading and unloading goods and facilitate trade in the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance announced that three cranes worth more than 52 million Afghanis have been purchased for use in the customs of Farah, Kandahar and Khost provinces. The aim of this measure is to accelerate the process of loading and unloading goods in these customs and, as a result, facilitate and promote trade in the country.
 
The press office of the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance made this news public by issuing a press release on Monday, 15th of April. According to this press release, the department purchased these cranes in order to facilitate trade and resolve the problems of traders.
 
The news release, citing customs officials, added that with the purchase of these cranes, the problems of traders in the relevant areas have been largely resolved, and this will also help increase national income.
 
The news release also states that eight more cranes will soon be purchased and delivered to other customs offices in the country. This move reflects the Afghan government’s determination to modernize customs and facilitate trade across the country.
