Herat security officials have arrested four professional thieves and recovered more than 300 lakh Afghanis in cash and two kilograms of gold stolen about six months ago.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Officials of the Kidnapping Crimes Detection Directorate of the Criminal Management Department of Herat Police Headquarters in cooperation with the Electronic Crime Detection Directorate arrested four professional thieves who had committed theft in Kohsan district.
Maulvi Wali Shah Rahmat, director of crime prevention at the Herat police headquarters, told a news conference that the four thieves, guided by a woman, had stolen 300,000 Afghanis in cash and two kilograms of gold from a residential house.
He added that a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a rifle and a car were also recovered from the robbers.
The criminal director of the Herat police headquarters stressed that the security forces will spare no effort to protect the security of the people.
